We are an Independent Fundamental Baptist Church by conviction and principle, not by affiliation with a denomination. This means that we believe the basic Bible teachings for which Baptists have historically stood.
As an independent church, we are governed under the headship of Jesus Christ rather than a denominational organization. This allows us to support missionaries, select leadership, and conduct ministry according to the teachings of Scripture.
As Baptists, our beliefs are rooted in the teachings of God's Word. We believe:
✓ The Bible is the inspired, preserved, and authoritative Word of God for all matters of faith and practice.
✓ Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
✓ Every believer has direct access to God through Jesus Christ, our Great High Priest.
✓ The local church is self-governing under the authority of Christ.
✓ Baptism and the Lord's Supper are the two ordinances given to the church.
✓ Every individual is personally responsible before God for his or her response to the gospel.
✓ The church and the state have distinct God-given roles.
✓ Salvation is eternal and secure in Christ.
✓ The two biblical offices of the church are pastor and deacon.
